1. Introduction

Welcome to Link Vacations. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our vacation rental services and website located at www.link.vacations. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Link Vacations operates as a vacation rental management company specializing in premium accommodations in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

2. Definitions

  • "Company," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Link Vacations
  • "Guest" or "you" refers to the person making a reservation
  • "Property" refers to vacation rental accommodations managed by Link Vacations
  • "Reservation" refers to a confirmed booking for accommodation
  • "Services" refers to vacation rental and related services provided by Link Vacations

3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Process

Reservations can be made through our website, authorized booking platforms (such as Airbnb), or by contacting us directly. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

3.2 Booking Confirmation

Your reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and our written confirmation. We reserve the right to decline any reservation at our discretion.

3.3 Minimum Age

The primary guest must be at least 21 years old to make a reservation. Valid government-issued identification is required at check-in.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Schedule

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking
  • All prices are quoted in Mexican Pesos (MXN) unless otherwise specified
  • Additional fees may apply for extra services, damages, or violations

4.2 Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required before check-in. The deposit will be returned within 7-14 business days after check-out, subject to property inspection and deduction of any damages or additional charges.

4.3 Currency and Taxes

All applicable taxes are included in the quoted rate unless otherwise specified. Exchange rates for foreign currency payments are determined at the time of transaction.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 Guest Cancellation

  • 30+ days before check-in: Full refund minus processing fees
  • 15-29 days before check-in: 50% refund
  • 14 days or less before check-in: No refund
  • Same day cancellation or no-show: No refund

5.2 Force Majeure

In cases of natural disasters, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control, alternative arrangements or credits may be offered at our discretion.

5.3 Company Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel reservations due to property unavailability, maintenance issues, or guest violations. In such cases, we will provide a full refund or comparable alternative accommodation.

6. Check-in and Check-out

6.1 Check-in Times

  • Standard check-in: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Late check-in: After 8:00 PM (additional fees may apply)
  • Early check-in: Subject to availability (additional fees may apply)

6.2 Check-out

  • Standard check-out: 11:00 AM
  • Late check-out: Subject to availability (additional fees may apply)

6.3 Key and Access

Check-in instructions and access codes will be provided prior to arrival. Guests are responsible for maintaining security and returning all keys/access devices.

7. Property Rules and Restrictions

7.1 Occupancy Limits

Maximum occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Additional guests beyond the stated capacity are not permitted and may result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund.

7.2 Prohibited Activities

  • Smoking inside properties (designated outdoor areas only)
  • Pets (unless specifically authorized)
  • Parties or events exceeding property capacity
  • Illegal activities of any kind
  • Excessive noise that disturbs neighbors
  • Subletting or unauthorized use

7.3 Noise Policy

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Guests must respect neighbors and maintain reasonable noise levels at all times.

8. Liability and Insurance

8.1 Guest Responsibility

Guests are responsible for any damages, losses, or additional cleaning required due to their use of the property. This includes but is not limited to stains, broken items, missing items, or excessive cleaning needs.

8.2 Limitation of Liability

Link Vacations is not liable for personal injury, loss of personal property, or any incidental damages during your stay. Guests are advised to obtain travel insurance.

8.3 Property Condition

While we strive to maintain properties in excellent condition, minor maintenance issues may occur. Report any problems immediately for prompt resolution.

9. Privacy and Personal Information

We collect and use personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described.

Guest information may be shared with property owners, local authorities when required by law, and service providers necessary for your stay.

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Communication

We encourage guests to communicate any issues during their stay so we can address them promptly. Contact us immediately if any problems arise.

10.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico and the State of Quintana Roo. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo.

11. Modifications and Updates

Link Vacations reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a new effective date.

Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
